Information we collect

We collect different types of information to be able to provide the desired service to our customers. Information we collect are:

1- Your account information

When you are signing up with Hubber, we ask for your data like your name, last name, email address, organization name & URL, profile picture, and if you want to subscribe, we collect billing information like Credit Card data.

2- Your Users data

When you install Hubber’s messenger on your site, we collect different data types to help you provide the best support experience. These data include your user’s email, name, phone number, IP address, their geo-location based on their IP address. We may use third-party services to gather more publicly provided information about your users to give more context when a new user starts a conversation with you.

3- Messages between you and your customers

As you start having conversations, we safely store these messages and related data like participants, date, assigned agents on our servers.

4- Automatically gathered information

Logging & performance observability

We collect service-related diagnostics and performance history of our applications to be able to improve our services. Includes information about your activity on Hubber’s software, log files, crashes & feedbacks you provide.

Transactional information

If you subscribe to our services, we collect your payment data & billing information. For payments, we use Paddle Inc as a Merchant of Record. Paddle will handle payment processing, collect tax information and generate receipts for you. Although we don’t store your Credit Card information on our servers and Paddle Inc will process that data as a professional payment solutions provider.

Device and connection information

When you install, access, or use our Services, we collect device-specific information, including information such as hardware model, operating system information, browser information & IP address.


We use cookies to operate and provide our Services, including providing our web-based Services, improving your experiences, understanding how our services are used, and customizing our Services. For example, we use cookies to offer Hubber for web and desktop and other web-based services. Additionally, we may use cookies to remember your choices, such as your language preferences, and otherwise customize our Services.

Status information

We collect information about your online and status message changes on our Services, such as whether you are online (your “online status”).

Whom we share your data with

Below you can find out which services has partial access to your personal data, we use these services to be able to operate, analyze or market but not limited to.


Paddle acts as Merchant of Record and processes all the payments made to Hubber.


We use Mailgun as an Email API provider. Most of the transactional emails you receive from us like password recovery, message notifications, invitations, email verifications (but not limited to) are sent by Mailgun also hosted in Europe.


We use cloudflare as DNS & CDN (but not limited to) for stability and high available setup.


We host our software at Hetzner Europe data centers in Germany & Finland.


We use Google Analytics to analyze the performance and essential metrics of our business.

Heap Analytics

We use Heap Analytics to gather product-based information like how many of our customers use a particular feature, how many times our customers used our apps, and find out where we can improve our services.


We use Mailchimp email marketing software to reach out to you about events, updates to the software, onboarding you to better use Hubber and other marketing activities.

We reserve the right to update this page at our discretion at any time, but we will try to inform you of changes, but we cannot guaranty, and we ask you to read this page periodically while using our services.
